Our team is led by Practice Director Tim Cropper who is highly experienced and has successfully advised clients on a wide range of residential, retail, office, industrial and care home developments throughout the UK.

Tim’s knowledge and understanding of the planning system has developed since graduating from the University of Manchester in 2004, with extensive experience in local government and private sector planning consultancy in Manchester and London.

He has a proven track record in managing complex planning applications and in leading multi-disciplinary teams. He has also represented clients at numerous public examinations and is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Since founding Mialex in 2017, Tim has secured planning permission for numerous major residential and commercial developments across the country, resulting in the delivery of over a thousand new homes. He has a particular specialism in maximising the development potential of constrained, previously developed sites within sustainable urban locations.
