Planning Permission in Five Weeks? An Impossible Task? Petersgate House, Stockport

Those who are familiar with Stockport Town Centre may recognise this beauty (Petersgate House). A large vacant office building that polarises public opinion overlooking St Peter’s Square. An important part of the Town Centre where several major residential projects are progressing.

Tasked with securing permission to convert the vacant floorspace into 24 new apartments, thanks to a high quality submission and a proactive approach we secured planning approval in less than 5 weeks!

This means that plans to remodel the external appearance of the building can now move forward ahead of schedule, we hope these works will enable the building to contribute in a more positive manner to the Conservation Area.

Whilst the current economic and political climate continues to delay many planning applications, it is clear our diligent and proactive approach continues to reap rewards.
