We are seeking to hire a Planning Consultant to join our team based in Manchester City Centre. This role is ideal for graduates or planners who have experience in consultancy or local government and are working towards achieving chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and gain excellent experience within a supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include preparing planning applications and appeals, site appraisals, site visits, planning strategies and development plan representations. You will provide advice and guidance to a variety of clients on residential and commercial developments.

We expect candidates to have obtained a 2:1 or equivalent degree in a RTPI/RICS accredited subject and be working towards chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). Candidates should be able to demonstrate good analytical, presentation and writing skills, together with a clear commitment to working in the planning and property development sector. The role will require working on a range of varied projects, so a proven ability to manage your own time, workload and to problem solve is crucial.
