In 2024, we secured permission for the construction of 6 new family homes on a vacant backland site within a Conservation Area.

The site had a long history of planning refusals and was only deemed to be suitable for a single additional dwelling. Working alongside Gouldstone and Co, Mialex successfully maximised the development potential of the site beyond expectations, despite a wide range of heritage, emergency access and ecological constraints.

By engaging proactively with the Council, we secured the full support of Planning, Design and Heritage Officers as well as Members of the Planning Committee (despite strong opposition from members of the local community).
