Mialex successfully secured planning permission for a new house of exceptional, contemporary design within the Mid Kent Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

At the outset, we undertook a development appraisal to advise our client in terms of whether there was a realistic chance of success in obtaining permission for a new dwelling based on our extensive experience in this field of planning.

Subsequently, a robust application submission was prepared which included a detailed assessment of the impact of the new house upon the visual character of the surrounding landscape as well as an examination of relevant appeal caselaw.

Although the application was refused by the Council for several reasons, we were able to successfully overturn this decision at appeal.
