Planning permission was secured for 17 new apartments with commercial use at ground floor level following successful public consultation and specific targeting of Ward Members.

The approved scheme delivered additional residential units at 5th floor level despite initial Officer objections regarding height, impact upon the streetscene and neighbouring buildings.

A reduction in the Council’s affordable housing requirement was also successfully achieved.
